the quickest, creamiest mac + cheese {instant pot}

Make this amazingly quick and easy macaroni and cheese recipe for the entire family or take it for lunches to experience comfort food all week long!


Ingredients:
1 box of pasta — I used rotini
1 cup heavy whipping cream
3 T salted butter
1 tsp salt
2 cups shredded colby jack cheese
4 cups water

Instructions:
Dump the entire box of pasta into the Instant Pot — uncooked. Add water, salt, and butter over the pasta. Secure the lid, set the vent to sealing mode, and set the pot on Manual High Pressure cooking for 4 minutes.
Once complete, turn the pot off, and quick release. Remove the lid, turn the pot to saute, add the heavy whipping cream, and stir. Gradually add the cheese as you continue to stir and mix as it melts. Once the cheese is melted and combined well, turn the Instant Pot off, and you’re ready to enjoy! Add pepper to taste if you wish.
Makes approximately 5 hearty servings.
