Target Try-On

I may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post. As always, my opinions and sentiments are my own and I express them freely, regardless of sponsorship because I partner with brands I love.

I decided to do a Target try-on because I rarely shop in-store at Target anymore and thought you might be missing some of my picks. I don’t shop there less frequently because I don’t like it—more because it’s bad for my budget–I want everything!

I was on the road again this weekend and decided to stop and do a Target try-on because it looked like a location that might have some unique stuff. I hit the jackpot!

Good news is if you’re like me and not all of this stuff is in your local store or you don’t like going there because you can’t stay in line with your budget, you can grab it online. Most pieces are available in both regular and plus sizes, which is so awesome!

Tie-shoulder sweater tank (plus only)

This tie-shoulder sweater tank tie-shoulder sweater tank comes in both navy blue and this gorgeous true red. It comes in X through 4X and is on clearance for under $25. I love it with true denim (skirt, jeans, or shorts) or white denim! Check out the denim that I’m wearing here — one of my two favorite pairs and it DOES go on sale sometimes (size-inclusive).

Cheetah Swing Dress

Loving this lightweight cheetah swing dress! It comes in both regular and plus and is under $20. So easy to pair with a jean jacket and sandals or a pair of Spanx faux leather leggings and booties in the fall!

Smocked Midi Dress

I felt so comfortable in this dress from the moment I put it on. I couldn’t wait to wear it, so I dressed it up with some espadrilles and accessories and wore it to a fancy event. I love that it comes in regular and plus and that it’s not an overly trendy piece and I can get longevity out of it.

Ruffle Sleeve Blouse

What a darling blouse! It is perfect with jeans, shorts, or even a pencil skirt for the office. It feels like it is definitely a more luxury top, but it’s under $30! The neutral tones also allow you to be able to bring a pop of color via accessories. Comes in regular and plus sizes.

Tie Waist Tank

I have been seeing button up, tie waist tanks everywhere lately! They’re trendy, which also means I don’t like to spend too much money on pieces like this. I’m more of a pear shape and because my hips are the largest part of me, I find that this type of top is not as flattering on me than it is on some others that I’ve seen try them on (see @fashionfixmn and @everythingemilyann on IG for better inspo on this trend). This tank is cute and would fit someone with smaller hips than I better. It’s also under $20, which is great for budget!

Bell Sleeve Leopard Top

I can’t resist a good leopard top! When blouses have feminine and flowy details like bell sleeves, light, airy fabric, and a tie neck, they’re a win for the office. This top looks much more expensive than it really is! It comes in regular and plus sizes and I can’t wait to pair it with a cute, black pencil skirt and wear to work. How much do you think this one cost? Hint: it’s under $30!

I want to know which pieces you love most from this edition of Target try-on, so let me know in the comments.
