heather’s favorite things v. 1

I may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post. As always, my opinions and sentiments are my own and I express them freely, regardless of sponsorship because I partner with brands I love.

I’ve always wanted to do something like Oprah’s Favorite Things, where I give my favorite things to people I love and/or who would love them. Until I make it big (that’s a joke), sharing a list of my favorite things this year is going to have to suffice. If you want to know some of the things that rock my world right now, read on.

  1. This amazing AmazonBasics USB Extension Cable. My phone was always out of reach when I had it on the charger and I was always knocking things off of my nightstand (so annoying). I plugged the brick portion of the cord that came with my iPhone into one end and then the USB end of my charging cord into the other and voila, I have 9.8 glorious feet of extra slack. GENIUS (and cheap)!
  2. Instant Pot DUO80. I told you all about how much I LOVE my Instant Pot. It is a complete LIFESAVER for someone who works quite a few hours a week and still needs to get dinner on the table (preferably not from any sort of fast food restaurant). The IP has seven 52461401settings and there are about a zillion recipes on Pinterest and the Instant Pot Community on Facebook to follow. Do me a favor and run, don’t walk, to get one! I have the 8 quart because I didn’t want to have #FOMO (fear of missing out), but the 6 quart seems to work great for many people and would probably be awesome for you, too.
  3. Coconuts by Matisse Lambert Boot in Saddle. I get ENDLESS compliments when I wear these adorable booties! They’re a bit quirky with the suede fabric and the crazy fringe, but when you’re on the move, the command 61qzxmlje4l-_uy395_attention like a boss. I am terrible at wearing anything that’s not flat to the ground, so I was a bit worried about the stacked heel at first. Let me tell you, it’s SOLID and they’re still comfortable to me at the end of the day. I’m super rough on shoes and mine are holding up perfectly. They’re the perfect mid-priced bootie to add to your collection and comes in several colors!
  4. Bose SoundLink Color Bluetooth Speaker II . This thing is my SAVIOR when I’m doing a Facebook Live sale for my LuLaRoe business or having a drop in and shop event. I love being able to connect this little speaker which packs a big sound (and a crisp one, at that) to any of my 81fmwjlzsel-_sx522_devices quickly and easily. It lasts at least five hours after being charged fully and juices up quickly once it’s on the charger. It’s a great addition if you need some portable sound or just want something a little smaller.
  5. My beautyblender is one of my can’t-live-withouts! I use much less foundation and still get the coverage I need because of 41i4opapnilthis little egg-shaped contraption. I use it wet for applying foundation and keep the liquid cleanser on hand as well, to be sure it’s not a breeding ground for nastiness.  You can use the beautyblender dry as well — contouring, covering, and stippling are all great uses for this fun little tool.

These are simply a few of my favorite things that I use or wear regularly. I’m intentionally keeping this short but if you’re loving it, I might do this feature in normal rotation. What are a few of your favorite things? Leave them in the comments!
